If you had east, you could come to Lexington. This is the second largest city. It is known as the horse capital of the world, and also the Bluegrass region, and one of the best things that you can do is take advantage of all of the brewing and distillery companies that have excellent beer. The third place you should visit is Frankfurt. It is the fifth-smallest city of all of the state capitals in the US. While you are in this city, you can check out the New Capital Building, or the very popular Three Boys Farm distillery which has some of the best bourbons in the country. The fourth place that you can go is called Owensboro. You can go to the International Bluegrass Music Museum. If you like this type of music, this is the destination that you should visit, as well as the Smothers Park right down the road. Finally, you should take a trip over to Elizabethtown which is another destination that has different parks and places to eat. An excellent place that you can go if you like to dine at a good Irish pub is Nugent’s Tavern open most of the week.

Your trip to Kentucky can also include traveling to cities like Bowling Green, and you certainly have to take a trip over to Fort Knox.
